Acoustic filling

ALPHA Offer: as standard, a black veil from PLAFOMETAL is thermally bonded to the back of perforated ceilings.
ALPHA PLUS Offer: a specific encapsulated insulator to be installed on the back of perforated ceilings.

The acoustic performances of ceiling systems are guaranteed for defined, controlled, and fully supplied products by PLAFOMETAL.

According to the EN 13501-1 standard:

Fire resistance:

France

Fire resistance SF 1/2h according to the test described in the Decree of March 22, 2004 appendix 1 § 2.5 complying with the current French fire regulations in common areas of high-rise buildings. Implementation must be in accordance with the classification report and extensions. Contact us.

Belgium

Fire resistance SF 1/2h according to the test following the Belgian standard NBN 713-020 meeting the current fire regulations in evacuation routes, areas accessible to the public, and communal kitchens. Implementation must comply with the classification and testing report. Contact us.

Chemical resistance

Metal ceilings are resistant* to sodium hypochlorite 2.5%, hydrogen peroxide 6%, or ethanol 70% disinfectants. However, we recommend certain disinfectants more specifically depending on the type of ceiling:

Sodium hypochlorite 2.5%: no visual changes on all ceilings
Hydrogen peroxide 6%: only black post-lacquered ceilings show minor visual changes, no visual changes are observed on other ceilings
Ethanol 70%: only white pre-lacquered, black post-lacquered, and wood finish ceilings show minor visual changes, no visual changes are observed on other ceilings

This also applies to all pre-lacquered/post-lacquered steel or aluminum products in the ALPHA, ALPHA PLUS, and DECIBEL ranges. *exposure according to EN 12720; disinfection and wet abrasion according to ISO 11998

They do not promote microbial growth and do not emit VOCs and formaldehydes.
