Acoustic absorption

Acoustic filling
- Offer ALPHA: as standard, a black veil PLAFOMETAL is thermally bonded to the back of the perforated ceilings.
- Offer ALPHA PLUS: a specific insulating material bagged for installation on the back of the perforated ceilings.
The acoustic performances of ceiling systems are guaranteed for defined, controlled, and fully delivered products by PLAFOMETAL.

According to standard EN 13501-1:
- Euroclass A1 for non-perforated prelacquered products

Fire resistance:
France
- Fire resistance SF 1/2h according to the test described in the Decree of March 22, 2004 annex 1 §2.5. Compliant with the current French fire regulations in common areas of high-rise buildings. Panels and edge profiles must be installed in accordance with the Classification and Extension Report. Contact us for more information.
Belgium
- Fire resistance SF 1/2h according to the test following the Belgian standard NBN 713-020. Compliant with the current Belgian fire regulations in escape routes, areas accessible to the public, and communal kitchens. Panels and edge profiles must be installed in accordance with the classification and testing report. Contact us for more information.
Chemical resistance
Metal ceilings are resistant to 2.5% sodium hypochlorite, 6% hydrogen peroxide, or 70% ethanol disinfectants. However, we recommend specific disinfectants based on the type of ceiling:
- 2.5% sodium hypochlorite: no visual changes on all ceilings
- 6% hydrogen peroxide: only minor visual changes on post-lacquered black ceilings, no visual changes on other ceilings
- 70% ethanol: only minor visual changes on pre-lacquered white, post-lacquered black, and wood finish ceilings, no visual changes on other ceilings
This also applies to all pre-lacquered/post-lacquered steel or aluminum products in the ALPHA, ALPHA PLUS, and DECIBEL ranges.*exposure according to EN 12720; disinfection and wet abrasion according to ISO 11998
