Ideal for :

the halls and common horizontal circulation landings (CHC) of high-rise buildingsPLAFOMETAL-SC-240 is a Fire-Resistant system suitable for installation in wide circulation areas of buildings where discreet and uniform ceiling surfaces are desired. Monobac SF tiles are clipped between concealed carriers. Access to the plenum is achieved through a specific tool that limits access to equipment, with a large opening from below to facilitate maintenance phases throughout the building's life.

Description


  • Wall-to-wall closed suspended ceiling composed of clipped panels on concealed carriers
  • Steel panel type Clip-In with seamless edges and chamfered angles (possible sharp) with a edge strip on all 4 sides allowing clipping even in case of cuts
  • The secondary T carrier where the panel clips in is connected to a primary U carrier by a very simple to install linking hanger allowing easy adjustments between carriers
  • Acoustic additions available as an option
  • Fire-resistant ceiling: refer to the installation guide Monobac Fire-Resistant and always refer to the test reports and extensions available upon request

    • Complies with the current Belgian fire regulations in force in evacuation routes, areas open to the public, and collective kitchens.

  • Reservations, integrations

    The ceiling must not support any other load than its own weight. Various equipment (lighting, ventilation, sound systems, signage, etc.) can be hung from the main or secondary building structure using hangers passing through the ceiling with minimal clearance. This secondary structure must then be checked under operating conditions, by testing or calculation according to the current standards referenced in the CSTB report.

  • Opening

    Access to the plenum by unclipping the panel from below using a specific disassembly tool.

  • Resistance to disinfection chemicals

    Our metal ceilings are resistant to sodium hypochlorite 2.5%, hydrogen peroxide 6%, or ethanol 70% disinfectants (according to EN 12720 and ISO 11998 standards).Refer to the Maintenance page in the Product Catalog Annexes for more details.

  • FDES Plafometal verified
