THE PROJECT

In Chouilly, in the heart of the Côte des Blancs vineyards, the Nicolas Feuillatte champagne house has renovated its vat rooms, outdoor parking, reception area, and part of its headquarters. The winery called on Plafometal to create a unique, spacious, airy, and bright space, in keeping with the brand's enchanting universe. Plafometal met all expectations by offering various custom acoustic and decorative metal ceiling solutions. Inaugurated in 2017, the Nicolas Feuillatte space now welcomes visitors from around the world.

OUR RESPONSE

• Wood-finish clip-on tray system
• PM2 clip-on aluminum, dark walnut finish
• Linear tray system on supports: Modulbac white grained and ungrained (Modulbac is now replaced by PM300 in the Plafometal range)
• Self-supporting trapezoidal mirror-finish trays to follow the curve of the building

WINERY: PM2 CLIPPABLE ALUMINUM DARK WALNUT WOOD FINISH

The vat rooms are essential spaces in the winery, so the ceiling is ideally suited to their thermal and acoustic requirements. The color, reminiscent of Nicolas Feuillatte's signature color, provides an elegant and unique look. Plafometal proposed covering the ceiling with Pm2 400 mm x 2780 mm panels, in their clip-on version, with a 0.7 mm thick wood-finish aluminum option. The panels are perforated 12% ø 2.5 with a sound absorption coefficient αw close to 0.8.

RECEPTION HALL: MODULBAC WHITE NON-GRAINED

To enhance the reception area, the ceiling must accommodate the large volume of the hall while remaining uncluttered. The Modulbac clip-on ceiling system, measuring 300 mm x 2000 mm, allows you to cover large areas with large panels.
Note: Modulbac has now been replaced by PM300 in the Plafometal range.

PARKING: MODULBAC WHITE GRAINED

This ceiling covers the parking lot canopies. The Modulbac system adapts to external constraints according to certain installation recommendations (support center distances, number of hangers, anti-lift system). The grained coating increases moisture resistance.
Note: Modulbac has now been replaced by PM300 in the Plafometal range.

CORRIDORS: FREE-STANDING TRAPEZOID BIN WITH MIRROR FINISH

Mirrored ceilings adorn all circulation areas within the head office. A unique design that opens up new perspectives, offering a feeling of space and amplified luminosity. The originality of this mirrored ceiling is made possible by the self-supporting trays made of shiny anodized aluminum. As the circulation areas are curved, the trays were therefore designed to adapt to this configuration. These trapezoidal trays can be used across the entire surface to be treated or inserted punctually between rectangular trays, thus respecting the architectural appearance of the building.
