Acoustic absorption

According to the EN ISO 11654 standard:

High equivalent absorption area (Aeq): sabin m² / m² product ratio up to 1.8 in speech frequencies. The Aeq, defined as the product of the acoustic absorption coefficient and the measured panel surface, is an imaginary surface given in m² with an absorption coefficient α sabin of 1 per frequency band.

Acoustic filling

ALPHA Offer: as standard, a black veil PLAFOMETAL is thermally adhered to the back of perforated ceilings.
ALPHA PLUS Offer: two filling options are offered. The specific surface-coated insulation for optimal performance or the specific bagged insulation to avoid fibers.

The acoustic performances of ceiling systems are guaranteed for defined, controlled, and fully delivered products by PLAFOMETAL.

Chemical resistance

Metal ceilings are resistant* to sodium hypochlorite 2.5%, hydrogen peroxide 6%, or ethanol 70% disinfectants. However, we particularly recommend certain disinfectants depending on the type of ceiling:

Sodium hypochlorite 2.5%: no visual change observed on all ceilings
Hydrogen peroxide 6%: only black post-lacquered ceilings show a minor visual change, no visual change is observed on other ceilings
Ethanol 70%: only white pre-lacquered, black post-lacquered, and wood finish ceilings show a minor visual change, no visual change is observed on other ceilings

This is also valid for all pre-lacquered/post-lacquered steel or aluminum products from the ALPHA, ALPHA PLUS, and DECIBEL ranges. *exposure according to EN 12720; disinfection and wet abrasion according to ISO 11998

Our ceilings are 100% recyclable indefinitely.
They are durable, easy to maintain, non-dust-generating, non-particle-emitting, and inert and odorless.
They do not promote microbial growth and do not emit VOCs and formaldehydes.
This product has a verified PEP, downloadable from the website www.inies.fr or in the section Documentation.

Type of installation

Installation on continuous J profiles
Installation on furring channels

Implementation

Installation on running J profiles: The supporting L profiles (length = island width - 60 mm) are at a spacing according to the island dimensions (see product sheet), with suspension points spacing = Island width - 200 mm. Align and secure the hanging J profiles. Install the panels from below by slightly opening the end folds.

Installation on furring channels: The F45 furring channels to be cut (length = island width - 106 mm) are at a spacing according to the island dimensions (see product sheet), with suspension points spacing = Island width - 300 mm. Align and secure the pivot end caps (possibility of providing support profiles* with end caps in a single element, please contact us).
