Acoustic filling

ALPHA offer: as standard, a black veil from PLAFOMETAL is thermally bonded to the back of perforated ceilings.
ALPHA PLUS offer: two filling options are available. Specific surface-insulated material for optimal performance or specific bagged insulation to avoid fibers.

The acoustic performance of ceiling systems is guaranteed for defined, controlled, and fully delivered products by PLAFOMETAL.

According to standard EN 13501-1:

Euroclass A1 for non-perforated pre-coated products
Euroclass A1 for pre-coated products from the ALPHA range
Euroclass A2-s1, d0 for non-perforated powder-coated post-coated products
Euroclass A2-s1, d0 for powder-coated post-coated products from the ALPHA range
Euroclass A2-s1, d0 for products from the ALPHA PLUS range

Chemical resistance

Metal ceilings are resistant* to 2.5% sodium hypochlorite, 6% hydrogen peroxide, or 70% ethanol disinfectants. However, we particularly recommend certain disinfectants based on the type of ceiling:

2.5% sodium hypochlorite: no visual changes on all ceilings
6% hydrogen peroxide: only black post-lacquered ceilings show minor visual changes, no visual changes are observed on other ceilings
70% ethanol: only white pre-lacquered, black post-lacquered, and wood finish ceilings show minor visual changes, no visual changes are observed on other ceilings

This also applies to all pre-lacquered/post-lacquered steel or aluminum products in the ALPHA, ALPHA PLUS, and DECIBEL ranges. *exposure according to EN 12720; disinfection and wet abrasion according to ISO 11998

They are durable, easy to maintain, non-dust, particle, or vapor generators, and are inert and odorless.
They do not promote microbial growth and do not emit VOCs and formaldehydes.
