Acoustic filling
- ALPHA Package: as standard, a black PLAFOMETAL veil is thermobonded to the back of perforated ceilings.
- ALPHA PLUS Package: two filling options are available. Specific surface-treated insulation for optimal performance or specific bagged insulation for easier installation.
The acoustic performance of ceiling systems is guaranteed for defined, controlled, and fully delivered products by PLAFOMETAL.

According to the standard EN 13501-1:
- Euroclass A1 for pre-coated non-perforated products
- Euroclass A1 for pre-coated products from the ALPHA range
- Euroclass A2-s1, d0 for post-coated powder non-perforated products
- Euroclass A2-s1, d0 for post-coated powder products from the ALPHA range
- Euroclass A2-s1, d0 for products from the ALPHA PLUS range
Chemical resistance
Metal ceilings are resistant* to sodium hypochlorite 2.5%, hydrogen peroxide 6%, or ethanol 70% disinfectants. However, we particularly recommend certain disinfectants based on the type of ceiling:
- Sodium hypochlorite 2.5%: no visual changes on all ceilings
- Hydrogen peroxide 6%: only black post-painted ceilings show minor visual changes, no visual changes are observed on other ceilings
- Ethanol 70%: only white pre-painted, black post-painted, and wood finish ceilings show minor visual changes, no visual changes are observed on other ceilings
This also applies to all pre-painted/post-painted steel or aluminum products from the ALPHA, ALPHA PLUS, and DECIBEL ranges.*exposure according to EN 12720; disinfection and wet abrasion according to ISO 11998
