The former function room of pit number 2, a relic of the mining past, has been renovated and expanded to house the "Mine 2 Culture" cultural center, which includes a media library, the municipal music conservatory, and an auditorium.

For this renovation and expansion project, PLAFOMETAL supplied 550 m² of acoustic metal ceilings, helping to transform the cultural center into a space that is functional, aesthetically pleasing, and optimized for acoustic comfort.
