Selection guide

  • Acoustic comfort

The advantages of the system

  • Opening: swing-down from below and highly resistant to regular handling
  • Acoustic: high correction, absorption coefficient αw up to 1 (NRC = 1)
  • Insulation: good air and sound tightness

Description

  • Swing-down opening ceiling consisting of panels hung on an exposed profile fixed to the wall and forming a closed reveal joint with the end of the panels
  • Self-supporting steel panels with seamless edges and sharp angles
  • The swinging of the panel is ensured by a system of axles connected to the profile by clips. This provides the panel with great robustness for regular handling
  • The edge profiles consist of a visible part on the wall forming the closed reveal joint with the end of the panels. On the pivot side, an omega profile assembled under wall brackets ensures the support of the legs holding the axles and clips that ensure the swinging movement

Refer to the Implementation page of the Product Catalog Annexes for more details.

  • Cleanability

By nature, our metal ceilings require minimal maintenance. However, various types of cleaning are still possible. Please refer to the [Maintenance](https://www.plafometal.fr/conditionnement-mise-en-oeuvre-maintenance-an…) page in the Product Catalog Appendices for more details, including advanced cleaning with high-pressure and dry steam.

  • Reservations, integrations

Customized factory cutting available upon request.

  • Opening

Access to the plenum by vertically pushing the panel then laterally translating to escape from the edge profile on which the panel rests. The panel pivots and remains suspended on the pivot axes.

  • Resistance to disinfection chemicals

Our metal ceilings are resistant to 2.5% sodium hypochlorite, 6% hydrogen peroxide, or 70% ethanol disinfectants (according to EN 12720 and ISO 11998 standards).Refer to the Maintenance page in the Product Catalog annexes for more details.
