Swing-down ceiling on concealed profile with Orial XL panel
office and hospital corridorsPLAFOMETAL-CC-130 is a system that can be adapted to the dimensions of corridors. The robust large-sized ORIAL XL panels are self-supporting from wall to wall, avoiding the use of suspended structures in congested plenums with numerous distribution networks. They create an elegant shadow gap with the wall. Their durability, combined with a wide opening by swinging down on both sides, will facilitate maintenance phases throughout the building's life.
Selection guide
- Acoustic comfort
The advantages of the system
- Aesthetic: large panel ceilings on concealed framing with offset edge joint allowing to absorb alignment deviations with the wall for a perfectly straight finish
- Acoustic: high correction, absorption coefficient αw up to 1 (NRC = 1)
- Opening: swing-down on both sides from underneath, ideal for crowded plenums, and resistant to handling
Description
- Opening swing-down ceiling made up of panels hung on a concealed profile forming a closed hollow joint between the end of the panels and the wall- Self-supporting steel panels with seamless edges and sharp angles- The panels have raised inner hook ends (BRIC) at their extremities, allowing for their suspension on the structure and swinging to one side or the other. This provides the panel with robustness for handling and the possibility of larger dimensions- The edge profile consists of a take-up flange to be fixed to the wall and a hanging profile to be shifted and fixed under the flange's wing according to the length of the panel between notches. It allows the closed hollow joint thus formed to absorb alignment deviations with the wall- Optional acoustic enhancements

Cleanability
By nature, our metal ceilings require minimal maintenance. However, different types of cleaning are still possible.
- Refer to the Maintenance page in the Product Catalog appendices for more details, including advanced high-pressure and dry steam cleaning.
- For perforated stainless steel ceilings, specific cleaning should be conducted on-site after film removal. Refer to the "Protective Film" paragraph on the Installation page in the Product Catalog appendices for more details.

Customized factory cutting on request.
-
Opening
Access to the plenum by vertical push of the panel then lateral translation to escape the hanging profile. The panel swings down and remains suspended on the opposite profile.
-
Resistance to disinfection chemicals
Our metal ceilings are resistant to 2.5% sodium hypochlorite, 6% hydrogen peroxide, or 70% ethanol disinfectants (according to EN 12720 and ISO 11998 standards).Refer to the Maintenance page in the Product Catalog annex for more details.
