Acoustic filling

ALPHA offer: as standard, a black veil PLAFOMETAL is thermally bonded to the back of perforated ceilings.
ALPHA PLUS offer: two filling options are available. Specific surfaced insulation for optimal performance or specific bagged insulation to avoid fibers.

The acoustic performance of ceiling systems is guaranteed for defined products, controlled and fully supplied by PLAFOMETAL.

Fire reaction

According to standard EN 13501-1:

Euroclass A1 for non-perforated pre-painted products
Euroclass A1 for pre-painted products from the ALPHA range
Euroclass A2-s1, d0 for non-perforated powder post-painted products
Euroclass A2-s1, d0 for powder post-painted products from the ALPHA range
Euroclass A2-s1, d0 for products from the ALPHA PLUS range

Chemical resistance

Metal ceilings are resistant to sodium hypochlorite 2.5%, hydrogen peroxide 6%, or ethanol 70% disinfectants. However, we recommend certain disinfectants depending on the type of ceiling:

Sodium hypochlorite 2.5%: no visual changes on all ceilings
Hydrogen peroxide 6%: only black post-painted ceilings show minor visual changes, no visual changes are observed on other ceilings
Ethanol 70%: only white pre-painted, black post-painted, and wood finish ceilings show minor visual changes, no visual changes are observed on other ceilings

This also applies to all pre-painted/post-painted steel or aluminum products from the ALPHA, ALPHA PLUS, and DECIBEL ranges.*exposure according to EN 12720; disinfection and wet abrasion according to ISO 11998

Our ceilings are 100% recyclable indefinitely.
They are durable, easy to maintain, non-dust-generating, non-particle-releasing, and vapor-free, inert, and odorless.
They do not promote microbial growth and do not emit VOCs and formaldehydes.

Implementation

Implementation according to DTU 58.1
Installation for corridors: angle to be fixed to the wall every 300 mm and Orial XL Plafometal hanging profile to be assembled with self-drilling screws under the angle every 300 mm. Allow for a minimum space of 30 mm between the wall and the edge of the panel.
Installation for free hanging system: Orial XL Plafometal supporting rail to be suspended from the ceiling and Orial XL Plafometal hanging profiles to be screwed onto the supporting rail. Contact us for details.

Disassembling for access to the plenum

Opening of the panel by vertical push then lateral movement to escape the hooking profile. The panel tilts and remains suspended on the opposite profile. Reinstallation in the reverse manner while maintaining alignment of one element to the other.
