PLAFOMETAL-OC-120 is a cellular ceiling system concealing the plenum while allowing air and light to circulate. The Square Mono grid panels are compatible with traditional T grids that remain exposed and are easily removable for plenum access. They can occasionally be used in a conventional ceiling as low luminance diffusers, lighting valances, or ventilation grilles.

Description

  • Cellular ceiling made up of open cell grid panels placed on a traditional T grid system
  • The panel consists of flat vertical aluminum elements (single skin) forming a square openwork mesh
  • Compatible with all T24 and T15 grids which remain exposed
  • Possible on T15 with reveal where the grid is recessed compared to the panel
  • Access to plenum by simply lifting the panel in the grid
  • Can occasionally be used in a conventional ceiling as low luminance diffusers, lighting valances or ventilation grilles

    Our metal ceilings are resistant to 2.5% sodium hypochlorite, 6% hydrogen peroxide, or 70% ethanol disinfectants (according to EN 12720 and ISO 11998 standards).Refer to the Maintenance page in the Product Catalog annexes for more details.

  • Active fire protection

    According to standard EN 12845:

    • If sprinklers are installed above the open-cell suspended ceiling, the total open flat surface area, including lighting fixtures, must not be less than 70% of the flat area.
    • In practice, a void percentage of over 80% is commonly requested for ceiling elements.

      • Vacant ceiling space percentage:

    • Over 95% for the 33 x 33 mm mesh
