Selection guide

  • Acoustic comfort
  • Fire resistant

The advantages of the system

  • Security: Fire-Resistant ½ h and ¼ h to comply with regulations in the common areas of high-rise buildings (IGH)
  • Acoustic: high correction, absorption coefficient αw up to 1 (NRC = 1)
  • Dimension: choice of different widths and lengths of panels within the Fire Stability Test Report limits
  • Installation: simple and secure with hook ends on panels to prevent any falls when the ceiling grid is fully opened
  • Access: easily removable with wide access to the plenum

Description

  • Wall-to-wall closed suspended ceiling made up of panels placed on exposed smooth or beveled joints carriers
  • Self-supporting steel panels with seamless edges and sharp angles
  • The panels are equipped at their ends with a straight raised end (SRE) and hooks on each edge to rest on the framework
  • The hooks prevent the panels from dislodging from the supporting structure
  • Acoustic supplements optional
  • Fire-resistant Ceiling: consult the installation guide PM8 on smooth Fire-Resistant and always refer systematically to the test reports and extensions available on request

  • Fire Stability

    France

    • Fire resistance SF 1/4 h and SF 1/2 h according to the test described in the Order of March 22, 2004, appendix 1 §2.5
    • Complies with current French fire regulations in buildings classified as High-Rise Developments

    Belgium

    • Fire resistance 30 min according to the test following the Belgian standard NBN 713-020
    • Complies with current Belgian fire regulations in evacuation routes, areas accessible to the public, and collective kitchens.

SF panels and profiles are specific and must always be installed in accordance with the Reports and extensions available on request. Also refer to the installation guide PM8 on Bandrasters Fire-Resistant.

  • Corrosion resistance

    Interior Ceiling

    • Class B according to EN 13964 standard
    • The suspensions and fixings to the supports are to be selected according to the desired class

Refer to the Implementation page of the Product Catalog Annexes for more details.

  • Cleanability

By nature, our metal ceilings require minimal maintenance. However, various types of cleaning are still possible. Please refer to the Maintenance page in the Product Catalog Supplements for more details.

  • Reservations, integrations

The ceiling must not support any load other than its own weight. Various equipment (lighting, ventilation, sound systems, signs, etc.) can be hung from the main or secondary building structure using hangers passing through the ceiling with minimal clearance. This secondary structure must then be checked hot, by test or calculation according to the current standards referenced in the CSTB report.

  • Opening

Access to the plenum by lifting the panel within the grid.

  • Resistance to disinfection chemicals

Our metal ceilings are resistant to sodium hypochlorite 2.5%, hydrogen peroxide 6%, or ethanol 70% disinfectants (according to EN 12720 and ISO 11998 standards).

Refer to the Maintenance page in the Product Catalog appendices for more details.
