Acoustic filling

ALPHA offer: as standard, a black veil from PLAFOMETAL is thermally bonded to the back of perforated ceilings.
ALPHA PLUS offer: a specific encapsulated insulant to be laid on the back of perforated ceilings.

The acoustic performances of ceiling systems are guaranteed for defined, controlled, and fully delivered products by PLAFOMETAL.

Fire resistance:

France

Fire resistance SF 1/2h according to the test described in the Decree of 22 March 2004 annex 1 § 2.5, meeting the current French fire regulations in common areas of high-rise buildings. Implementation must comply with the Classification and Extensions Report. Contact us.

Belgium

Fire resistance SF 1/2h according to the test following the Belgian standard NBN 713-020, meeting the fire regulations in force in evacuation routes, areas accessible to the public, and collective kitchens. Implementation must comply with the classification and test report. Contact us.

Chemical resistance

Metal ceilings are resistant* to 2.5% sodium hypochlorite, 6% hydrogen peroxide, or 70% ethanol disinfectants. However, we recommend certain disinfectants based on the type of ceiling:

2.5% sodium hypochlorite: no visual changes on all ceilings
6% hydrogen peroxide: only black post-lacquered ceilings show minor visual changes, no visual changes are observed on other ceilings
70% ethanol: only white pre-lacquered, black post-lacquered, and wood finish ceilings show minor visual changes, no visual changes are observed on other ceilings

This also applies to all pre-lacquered/post-lacquered steel or aluminum products from the ALPHA, ALPHA PLUS, and DECIBEL ranges.*exposure according to EN 12720; disinfection and wet abrasion according to ISO 11998

They do not promote microbial growth and do not emit VOCs and formaldehydes.
