Ceiling hung on concealed profile with Horus panel
office corridors and hospitals
PLAFOMETAL-CC-310 is a system that can be adapted to the dimensions of corridors. The HORUS panels are self-supporting from wall to wall, avoiding the use of suspended grids in plenums crowded with numerous distribution networks. They form an elegant reveal joint with the wall. Their robustness combined with a wide opening from below will facilitate maintenance phases throughout the building's life.
Selection guide
- Acoustic comfort
The advantages of the system
- Aesthetic: concealed grid with offset edge and hollow joint to absorb alignment deviations with the wall for a perfectly straight finish
- Acoustic: high correction, absorption coefficient αw up to 1 (NRC = 1)
- Access: demountable from below, ideal for crowded plenums
- Plenum ventilation: open hollow joint suitable for hospital environments
Description
- Self-supporting ceiling made up of panels hooked on a concealed profile forming an open reveal joint between the end of the panels and the wall
- Self-supporting steel panels with seamless edges and sharp angles
- The panels are equipped at their ends with notches allowing them to be suspended on the structure
- The concealed profile consists of a mounting flange to be fixed to the wall and a hanging profile to be shifted and fixed under the flange's wing according to the length of the panel between notches. It allows the open reveal joint thus formed to absorb alignment deviations with the wall
- Optional acoustic enhancements
Bulk cut
An A gap is required between the panel and the wall. Dimensions in mm.
