Comfortable and Secure Offices in the Heart of Brussels

Swiss Life entrusted PLAFOMETAL with the renovation of over 900 m² of ceiling systems in its open-plan offices, with the objective of combining optimal acoustic comfort with fire resistance compliance according to both French and Belgian standards.

PLAFOMETAL implemented the PM8 FR system on a grid, featuring hook-on self-supporting panels filled with mineral wool to ensure maximum acoustic absorption (αw = 1) while providing 30-minute fire resistance. The panels, pre-coated in white and 11% perforated, were custom-made and designed to be easily demountable for maintenance.
