Acoustic filling

• Offer ALPHA: as standard, a black veil PLAFOMETAL is heat-bonded to the back of perforated ceilings.
• Offer ALPHA PLUS: two filling options are offered. Specific faced insulation for optimal performance or specific bagged insulation to avoid fibers.

The acoustic performances of the ceiling systems are guaranteed for defined, controlled, and fully delivered products by PLAFOMETAL.

Fire reaction

According to standard EN 13501-1:

• Euroclass A1 for non-perforated prelacquered products
• Euroclass A1 for prelacquered products from the ALPHA range
• Euroclass A2-s1, d0 for non-perforated powder post-lacquered products
• Euroclass A2-s1, d0 for powder post-lacquered products from the ALPHA range
• Euroclass A2-s1, d0 for products from the ALPHA PLUS range

Résistance au feu

France: Fire-resistant 1/2h according to the test described in the Decree of March 22, 2004 annex 1 § 2.5. Complies with current French fire regulations in common circulation areas of high-rise buildings. The implementation of the products must conform to the Classification Report and extensions. Please contact us.

Chemical resistance

Metal ceilings are resistant to sodium hypochlorite 2.5%, hydrogen peroxide 6%, or ethanol 70% disinfectants. However, we particularly recommend certain disinfectants depending on the type of ceiling:

• Sodium hypochlorite 2.5%: no visual changes on all ceilings
• Hydrogen peroxide 6%: only black post-lacquered ceilings show minor visual changes, no visual changes are observed on other ceilings
• Ethanol 70%: only white pre-lacquered, black post-lacquered, and wood finish ceilings show minor visual changes, no visual changes are observed on other ceilings

This is also valid for all pre-lacquered/post-lacquered steel or aluminum products in the ALPHA, ALPHA PLUS, and DECIBEL offerings. *exposure according to EN 12720; disinfection and wet abrasion according to ISO 11998

Implementation

• Implementation according to DTU 58.1
• Wall installation in circulation: reprofiling bracket to be fixed to the wall every 300 mm and hook-on profile to be assembled with M6 bolts (not provided) under the reprofiling bracket. Allow for a space of 30 to 50 mm between the wall and the edge of the panel.
• Suspended installation in circulation: hook-on profile to be suspended every 1200 mm by a Ø6 mm threaded rod and M6 nuts (not provided). The reprofiling bracket is optional and can be fixed or not to the hook-on profile and/or the wall. Allow for a space of 30 to 50 mm between the wall and the edge of the panel.
• Note: for the SF installation, always refer to the test report available upon request.

Disassembling for access to the plenum

• Panel opening by vertical push then lateral translation to escape the hooking profile. The panel swings down and remains suspended on the opposite profile. Reinstallation in reverse order while respecting the alignment of one element to another.
