Acoustic filling

• ALPHA offer: as standard, a black veil from PLAFOMETAL is thermally bonded to the back of perforated ceilings.
• ALPHA PLUS offer: a specific encapsulated insulant to be placed at the back of perforated ceilings.

The acoustic performances of ceiling systems are guaranteed for defined, controlled, and fully delivered products by PLAFOMETAL.

Fire reaction

According to the EN 13501-1 standard:

• Euroclass A1 for pre-painted non-perforated products
• Euroclass A1 for pre-painted products from the ALPHA range
• Euroclass A2-s1, d0 for powder-coated non-perforated products
• Euroclass A2-s1, d0 for powder-coated products from the ALPHA range
• Euroclass A2-s1, d0 for products from the ALPHA PLUS range

Chemical resistance

Metal ceilings are resistant* to sodium hypochlorite 2.5%, hydrogen peroxide 6%, or ethanol 70% disinfectants. However, we recommend specific disinfectants depending on the type of ceiling:

• Sodium hypochlorite 2.5%: no visual changes on all ceilings
• Hydrogen peroxide 6%: only black post-painted ceilings show minor visual changes, no changes are observed on other ceilings
• Ethanol 70%: only white pre-painted, black post-painted, and wood finish ceilings show minor visual changes, no changes are observed on other ceilings

This also applies to all pre-painted/post-painted steel or aluminum products from the ALPHA, ALPHA PLUS, and DECIBEL ranges. *exposure according to EN 12720; disinfection and wet abrasion according to ISO 11998

Implementation

• Standard implementation according to DTU 58.1
• Truss installation: the secondary profiles T D5110 are spaced at 600 mm intervals. They are connected by the AC510 hanger to be bent around the primary U1029 profiles installed perpendicularly at 1200 mm intervals. The primary profiles are suspended at 1200 mm intervals by the bracket + nuts/threaded rod Ø6.
• Sealing of the non-perforated ceiling: may be reinforced by applying a silicone type sealant at the installation in the grooves of the panel.

Disassembling for access to the plenum

• Bottom unclipping with a specific removal tool.
• It is possible to make the ceiling unremovable by adding a security bracket AC511 at each corner of the panel.

Pose en extérieur

• Exterior installation: with safety bracket AC511, subject to conditions. Contact us depending on the selected tile to know the spacing to be planned by indicating the degree of exposure to wind and corrosion according to the project's implementation characteristics. The installation company must then submit its project for approval by the client.
