According to the standard EN 13501-1:

• Euroclass A1

Chemical resistance

Metal ceilings are resistant to sodium hypochlorite 2.5%, hydrogen peroxide 6%, or ethanol 70% disinfectants. However, we recommend specific disinfectants depending on the type of ceiling:

• Sodium hypochlorite 2.5%: no visual changes on all ceilings
• Hydrogen peroxide 6%: only black post-painted ceilings exhibit minor visual changes, no visual changes are observed on other ceilings
• Ethanol 70%: only white pre-painted, black post-painted, and wood finish ceilings exhibit minor visual changes, no visual changes are observed on other ceilings

This also applies to all pre-painted/post-painted steel or aluminum products from the ALPHA, ALPHA PLUS, and DECIBEL ranges.*exposure according to EN 12720; disinfection and wet abrasion according to ISO 11998

• Installation in a damp environment

Implementation

• Implementation according to DTU 58.1
• Grid installation: hangers every 1200 mm with a 300 mm starting point from the wall and a U carrier every 600 mm.
• Installation in humid environments: Installing in humid environments requires particular precautions. The degree of exposure to corrosion must be determined on a case-by-case basis. It is the responsibility of the installation company to submit their project for approval by the client.
