A sustainable and contemporary municipal extension in Bordeaux

The City of Bordeaux entrusted PLAFOMETAL with the fit-out of its new municipal building, located opposite the City Hall. Designed as a positive-energy extension, the building aims to produce more energy than it consumes.

In this context, PLAFOMETAL responded to requirements for both aesthetics and acoustic comfort, delivering solutions adapted to circulation areas with acoustic absorption levels ranging from αw = 0.80 to 1 (Alpha / Alpha Plus range).

A tailored solution for public buildings

For this project, PLAFOMETAL installed PM10 self-supporting ceiling panels, offering high installation flexibility, a clean architectural finish, and easy access to the plenum for maintenance.
