Swing-down ceiling on concealed profile with Aries panel
corridors with reduced plenum spacePLAFOMETAL-CC-210 is a system adaptable to corridor dimensions. The ARIES panels are self-supporting from wall to wall, avoiding the need for suspended frameworks in plenums crowded with numerous distribution networks. They create a hollow joint with the edges and have a reduced footprint. Their robustness combined with a large opening through swinging down will facilitate maintenance phases throughout the building's lifespan.
Selection guide
- Acoustic comfort
The advantages of the system
- Installation: low profile (50 mm) in reduced plenums
- Acoustic: high correction, absorption coefficient αw up to 1 (NRC = 1)
- Opening: tilting from below, ideal for crowded plenums, and robust handling
- Insulation: good air and noise tightness
Description
- Opening swing-down ceiling made up of panels hooked on an exposed profile fixed to the wall and forming a closed gap joint with the end of the panels
- Self-supporting steel panels with seamless edges and sharp angles
- The panels are equipped with specific notches at one end for resting on the structure and a specific fold at the other end for pivoting on the structure. This provides the panel with robustness during handling
- The edge profiles consist of two pre-assembled profiles: one forming the visible part on the wall forming the closed gap joint with the end of the panels, and another one ensuring, depending on the side, the resting or swinging function
- The overall dimensions of the system (panels and edge profiles) in the plenum do not exceed 50 mm
- Optional acoustic enhancements

Opening
Access to the plenum by vertically pushing the panel, then laterally sliding to escape the resting profile. The panel swings down and remains suspended on the pivot profile.
-
Resistance to disinfection chemicals
Our metal ceilings are resistant to 2.5% sodium hypochlorite, 6% hydrogen peroxide, or 70% ethanol disinfectants (according to EN 12720 and ISO 11998 standards).
Consult the Maintenance page in the Product Catalog Annex for more details. -
