Privacy between offices with movable partitionsPLAFOMETAL-SC-140 is a system designed for grid installation in offices. The suspension rails traditionally follow the facade grids, allowing for the positioning of movable partitions to structure open-plan spaces. The PM5 panels are self-supporting between rails and feature a sound-insulating complex that eliminates the need for acoustic barriers in the plenum. Their durability, combined with a wide opening, will facilitate maintenance phases throughout the building's lifespan.

The advantages of the system

  • Acoustic performance: high lateral insulation Dn,f,w up to 52 dB, avoiding the use of acoustic barriers in the plenum
  • Aesthetics: rails and panels are flush at the same level; the C concealed joint rail is not pierced thanks to the fixation of partition heads with hammer head screws
  • Dimension: choice of various widths of rails and panels. The length of the self-supporting panel is adaptable to the facade grid
  • Installation: simple and secure with Z-shaped raised end panels with hook-on edge (BRZC) to prevent any fall of panels if the ceiling grid is fully opened
  • Opening: easily demountable with wide access to the plenum

Description



  • Wall-to-wall closed suspended ceiling made up of self-supporting panels placed on exposed C-rail carriers with recessed joints or flat carriers
  • Self-supporting panels with seamless edges and sharp angles
  • The panels are equipped with Z-hook bent up (BRZC) at their ends to be flush with the structure
  • The BRZC allows the panel to slide on the structure during installation, facilitating the filling of each bay while preventing them from disengaging from the supporting structure, installed without primary linking frameworks that clutter plenums
  • The panels are filled with a specific high-performance mineral acoustic insulation and have folded legs to hold a plasterboard in place to create a sound-insulating complex
