Acoustic absorption

According to standard EN ISO 11654:

Significant equivalent absorption area (Aeq): ratio of sabin m² / m² of the product up to 1.8 in speech frequencies. The Aeq, defined as the product of the absorption coefficient and the measured panel surface, is an imaginary surface given in m² with an absorption coefficient α sabin of 1 per frequency band.

Acoustic filling

Offer ALPHA: as standard, a black veil PLAFOMETAL is thermally bonded to the back of perforated ceilings.
Offer ALPHA PLUS: two filling options are available. The specific surfaced insulant for optimal performance or the specific bagged insulant to avoid fibers.

The acoustic performance of ceiling systems is guaranteed for defined, controlled, and fully delivered products by PLAFOMETAL.

Chemical resistance

Metal ceilings are resistant* to sodium hypochlorite 2.5%, hydrogen peroxide 6%, or ethanol 70% disinfectants. However, we recommend specific disinfectants based on the type of ceiling:

Sodium hypochlorite 2.5%: no visual changes on all ceilings
Hydrogen peroxide 6%: only black post-lacquered ceilings show minor visual changes, no visual changes are observed on other ceilings
Ethanol 70%: only white pre-lacquered, black post-lacquered, and wood finish ceilings show minor visual changes, no visual changes are observed on other ceilings

This also applies to all pre-lacquered/post-lacquered steel or aluminum products from the ALPHA, ALPHA PLUS, and DECIBEL ranges. *exposure according to EN 12720; disinfection and wet abrasion according to ISO 11998

Type of installation

Suspended Installation

Implementation

Suspended installation, standard implementation: position the threaded rods at intervals = Panel Width - 108 mm x Panel Length - 108 mm, then pre-position the nuts and locknuts at the right height. Slightly spread the rods to insert them into the designated slots in the angle plates, then tighten the locknuts. The threaded rods can be replaced by suspension cables with hooks of a size and load capacity compatible with the ceiling (contact us, excluding DTU).
Suspended installation, options with centered hooks: suspension under the transverse reinforcement profiles, integrated into the ceiling with threaded rods or cables (excluding DTU), after carefully folding the tabs provided for this purpose. Contact us to determine the intervals and load transfers required based on the dimensions and option (cover) of the ceiling.
Connections between ceilings: ceilings can be connected to each other end to end, edge to edge, or perpendicularly, using accessories designed for this purpose. Contact us.
