Acoustic filling

• ALPHA Offer: as standard, a black veil PLAFOMETAL is thermally bonded to the back of perforated ceilings.
• ALPHA PLUS Offer: two filling options are available. The specific surfaced insulant for optimal performance or the specific bagged insulant to prevent fibers.

The acoustic performance of the ceiling systems is guaranteed for defined, controlled, and fully supplied products by PLAFOMETAL.

Fire reaction

According to standard EN 13501-1

Euroclass A1 for products:

• prelacquered non-perforated
• prelacquered from the ALPHA range

Euroclass A2-s1,d0 for products:

• powder-coated post-lacquered non-perforated
• powder-coated post-lacquered from the ALPHA range
• from the ALPHA PLUS range

Chemical resistance

Metal ceilings are resistant to sodium hypochlorite 2.5%, hydrogen peroxide 6%, or ethanol 70% disinfectants. However, we recommend certain disinfectants depending on the type of ceiling:

• Sodium hypochlorite 2.5%: no visual change on all ceilings
• Hydrogen peroxide 6%: only black post-lacquered ceilings show a minor visual change, no visual change is observed on other ceilings
• Ethanol 70%: only white pre-lacquered, black post-lacquered, and wood finish ceilings show a minor visual change, no visual change is observed on other ceilings

This also applies to all pre-lacquered/post-lacquered steel or aluminum products in the ALPHA, ALPHA PLUS, and DECIBEL ranges. *exposure according to EN 12720; disinfection and wet abrasion according to ISO 11998

Type of installation

• Interior clipped installation

Installation in damp environments: not compatible with chlorinated environments

Implementation

• Implementation clipped indoors according to DTU 58-1 and installation guide
• Installation is facilitated by large spacings, the elimination of the primary structure, and the use of a 'stepless' carrier. The use of I-HR carriers and 2.5mm thick stainless steel HR sliding hangers allows for the following maximum configurations:
• suspension spacing 1800mm and carrier spacing 2100mm
• suspension spacing 2400mm and carrier spacing 1200mm

Disassembling for access to the plenum

• Opening of the panels by using specific tools to insert to push the H clip and release the panel individually. For more details, refer to the installation guide or contact us.
