Acoustic filling

ALPHA offer: as standard, a black veil PLAFOMETAL is thermally bonded to the back of perforated ceilings.
ALPHA PLUS offer: a specific insulated bag to be placed on the back of perforated ceilings.

The acoustic performances of ceiling systems are guaranteed for defined products, controlled and fully delivered by PLAFOMETAL.

Fire reaction

According to standard EN 13501-1:

Euroclass A1 for non-perforated pre-coated products
Euroclass A1 for pre-coated products from the ALPHA range
Euroclass A2-s1, d0 for non-perforated powder-coated post-coated products
Euroclass A2-s1, d0 for powder-coated post-coated products from the ALPHA range
Euroclass A2-s1, d0 for products from the ALPHA PLUS range

Chemical resistance

Metal ceilings are resistant* to 2.5% sodium hypochlorite, 6% hydrogen peroxide, or 70% ethanol disinfectants. However, we particularly recommend certain disinfectants based on the type of ceiling:

Sodium hypochlorite 2.5%: no visual changes on all ceilings
6% hydrogen peroxide: only black post-lacquered ceilings show minor visual changes, no visual changes observed on other ceilings
70% ethanol: only white pre-lacquered, black post-lacquered, and wood-finish ceilings show minor visual changes, no visual changes observed on other ceilings

This applies to all pre-lacquered/post-lacquered steel or aluminum products in the ALPHA, ALPHA PLUS, and DECIBEL ranges. *exposure according to EN 12720; disinfection and wet abrasion according to ISO 11998

They are durable, easy to maintain, non-dust-generating, particle- or vapor-free, inert, and odorless.
They do not promote microbial growth and do not emit VOCs and formaldehydes.
