Acoustic filling

ALPHA offer: as a standard, a black veil PLAFOMETAL is thermally bonded to the back of perforated ceilings.
ALPHA PLUS offer: a specific wrapped insulant to be placed on the back of perforated ceilings.

The acoustic performances of ceiling systems are guaranteed for defined, controlled, and fully delivered products by PLAFOMETAL.

Fire reaction

According to the EN 13501-1 standard:

Euroclass A1 for non-perforated pre-coated products
Euroclass A1 for pre-coated products from the ALPHA range
Euroclass A2-s1, d0 for non-perforated powder post-coated products
Euroclass A2-s1, d0 for powder post-coated products from the ALPHA range
Euroclass A2-s1, d0 for products from the ALPHA PLUS range

Chemical resistance

Metal ceilings are resistant* to 2.5% sodium hypochlorite, 6% hydrogen peroxide, or 70% ethanol disinfectants. However, we recommend specific disinfectants depending on the type of ceiling:

Sodium hypochlorite 2.5%: no visual changes on all ceilings
Hydrogen peroxide 6%: only black post-painted ceilings show minor visual changes, no visual changes on other ceilings
Ethanol 70%: only white pre-painted, black post-painted, and wood finish ceilings show minor visual changes, no visual changes on other ceilings

This also applies to all pre-painted/post-painted steel or aluminum products from the ALPHA, ALPHA PLUS, and DECIBEL ranges.*exposure according to EN 12720; disinfection and wet abrasion according to ISO 11998

Disassembling for access to the plenum

By simply lifting the panel out of the grid.

Possibility of anti-lifting of the panel by adding CA113 brackets along the perimeter.
